R-TYPE III The people of Earth finally felt they could relax, since the BYDO Empire had been vanquished. But as you'll soon find out in R-TYPE III, the BYDO have returned and they've got vengeance on their mind. With more ships that are powerful and larger armies than ever before, it's up to the R-90 ship to protect the Earth and its inhabitants from annihilation once again. And just to make sure they don't return, you'll have to head deep into space and track down the BYDO mother ship, destroy it, and ultimately drive this menacing alien race into extinction.
