The Greatest (Michael Rivard in Michigan)

The best classic Castlevania, with unrelenting difficulty and some of the best NES music there is.

Great followup to the original. You can take multiple paths (levels) through the game and find additional characters to use -- something I think was pretty novel at the time! I haven't put a lot of time into it, but it seems a bit easier than the first two games, so it is a bit more enjoyable. It seems that you can find Alucard as a playable character as well (something I never knew!).

Great music like the original and has some deeper gameplay. Keep an eye on the price with games like these, they often sell for much higher at other places. Sometimes you can get lucky and get a VERY great deal here too if they have enough copies come in -- I did.
