Blues Brothers 2000 Description

Blues Brothers is an Action & Adventure game for Nintendo 64. In BLUES BROTHERS 2000, Elwood has just gotten out of prison and is charged with the task of looking after a little boy named Buster, as well as getting the band together to win a big band contest. The trip through Chicago, rounding up the band members is a whole lot of fun, and you even get to learn some new songs and funky dance moves to help win the Battle of the Bands contest.

Blues Brothers 2000 Reviews

Super Blues Brothers (Peter Hawley in California)

This is really just a clone of Super Mario 64, but instead of Mario and Luigi, you have Elwood and Jake jumping around and finding collectibles in prison, the city of Chicago, a cemetery, and then finally a swamp. This game happens to also be connected to the Blues Brothers 2000 film that came out in 1998, but due to delays, this game actually came out in 2000; when the film should have come out as well. Or better yet, neither should have been made in the first place. If you are looking for a good platformer that isn't as complicated on the N64 as Blues Brothers 2000 is, then you should actually spend the money on a decent copy of Super Mario 64 or Banjo-Kazooie and its sequel. While mediocre at best, this game's overall weirdness for a licensed movie game can justify one play through just so you can see how the hell this game ends. Also, this game has two-player co-op, so if you have a friend to kill time with, then this game might provide some funny moments.
